A tale of unexpected transformations and rather good coffee.
A rather interesting beginning
Life has a way of writing the most interesting tales. Take this building, for instance. It started as vessels carrying rather serious cargo across the Atlantic before it came to Rotterdam. Now we carry conversations, dreams, and yes, occasionally someone who's had one too many espressos. Talk about career changes.
Built in Mississippi with materials so clever they could trick submarines, we've since learned that the best tricks are much simpler: a perfectly timed coffee refill, a comfortable chair positioned just right for that view, knowing when to chat and when to let the water do the talking.
These days
We've been a hotel for more than 15 years, and we’re not trying to reinvent hospitality – we just think it could use a bit more humanity and perhaps a dash of wit.
